Chosen as the central lighting feature used within this 19th century town house restoration, California USA.
Our black patent leather chandeliers establish the mood within Jean Georges Vongerichten restaurant within the Aria resorts Las Vegas Nevada.
Black patent leather hide, hand stitched with coordinating leather thong stitch, is dressed with large leather facets, each pierced and then filled with faceted lead crystal drops. The metal ceiling rose and chandelier frame are finished in black lacquer to compliment the patent leather.
Hand sewn and finished in vegetable tanned leather with gold leaf on the internal face of the pieces, the lighting frame refracts light through the chandelier to create a rich glow. Stencil applied surface decoration surmounted by bronze bees.
The chandelier has a large swarm of cast Bronze Bee sculptures, some with wings open and others closed, cast by the lost wax process using copper, silver and gilt bronze.
